Dr. Thomas J. Schauer is a Sacramento native.
Dr. Schauer attended the University of California, Davis where he excelled in chemistry and biological sciences. After only three
years of undergraduate studies, Dr. Schauer was accepted into the Dental School at the University
of California, San Francisco and graduated in 1973 with Bachelor of Science in
Dental Science and a Doctorate Degree in Dental Surgery (General Dentistry).
That same year, Dr. Schauer opened his private practice in
his hometown of Sacramento, CA. He
is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, California
Dental Association, Sacramento District Dental Society and member of Hill Physicians Medical Group - TMJ and Sleep Apnea Consultant. He is a past member of the International
College of Crani-Mandibular Orthopedics.
Dr. Schauer has been married to his wife, Kari, for 34
years, they have two children, Lindsey and Connor. Most recently, he became a first time grandfather to Ava
Schauer.
